With excellent walking and cycling from the door, it offers easy access to miles of unspoilt coastline, internationally important nature reserves and amazing wildlife, hundreds of picturesque villages, grand stately homes and the lovely Holkham Estate and its miles of sandy beaches.
Owned and completely renovated by the owners of Norfolk Interior design company, Rooms with a View, this 200 year old cottage offers a cosy lounge, separate snug, luxury kitchen, boot room and one large luxury bedroom upstairs with a superking-sized bed and Egyptian cotton sheets. The adjoining bathroom has been lovingly renovated to the highest standards with full sized bath, separate walk in shower and pampering area.
Tasteful muted Farrow and Ball colours, crisp clean furnishings and simple understated elegance enhance the character of the cottage which is furnished using beautiful fabrics from leading British designers to create a contemporary country style. Beautiful paintings adorn the walls whilst interesting collections of art fill the shelves.
The kitchen is fully equipped with top quality appliances and all the utensils you can possibly need. Outside the private, fully enclosed garden soaks up the summer sunshine and has private off road parking, The cottage is dog friendly and we accept one well behaved larger dog or two small ones.
Please note that the cottage retains its original ‘Norfolk winder’ staircase to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. This staircase is steeper and narrower than a modern staircase so the cottage may not be suitable for people with more limited mobility.
